  • Black water (torch needed)

  • Strong current

  • Dives tide dependent

  • Average temperatures:

    • Dec-March 50s*F

    • Nov/April 60s*F

    • May 70s*F

    • June-Sept High 70s-80s*F

 

The Ledges, North Carolina

  • Deep (~80-120ft)

  • Offshore (30-40 miles out)

  • Can be low visibility but typically better

  • Short bottom time unless doing deco dives
