Tiny Tooth Pendant: Mini Mako
“Do you ever meet someone and just know that you are going to do great things together? When Theresa showed up at the dock a few years ago in February with 59* water, let me layer her up in wetsuits, and not only didn’t complain, but found a pure beauty of a mammoth tooth, I knew we were going to be fast friends and so did she.
Fast forward a few years and we have the Diver meets Jeweler Collection which is a collaboration between Meg Goddess Designs and metalsmith extraordinaire Theresa Applegate Jewelry.”
Theresa Applegate’s Tiny Tooth collection is one our our absolute favorites. These dainty solid sterling creations are molded and cast from real fossilized shark teeth found diving in Venice, Florida and come on a 16” sterling silver chain.
This particularly adorable ‘mini mako’ is a posterior tooth from the Carcharodon hastalis- the ancestor to the modern great white shark.
